Match the file to the tool
Google Maps batch searches use supported keyword/location queries. Facebook and LinkedIn dataset workflows have their own supported search or matching inputs. Check the format accepted by the specific tool rather than assuming every CSV uses the same columns.
The verified feature is desktop batch processing. It does not imply daily cloud scheduling, unattended cross-platform collection or collection from every website.
Prepare a small test file
- Define one task and identify the tool and permitted source.
- Prepare a supported CSV or TXT file and preserve identifiers and phone numbers as text.
- Check blank or repeated inputs and run a limited sample first.
- Review matched, unmatched and missing-field results, then adjust the file if needed.
- Run the approved batch and export the selected fields, keeping a record of the inputs and result checks.
Control the scope and usage credit
Set sensible result limits for the research question. Review operation costs in the application before processing a large file; points are usage credit, not a guaranteed number of records.
Keep the original input and a separate working copy. If results change after an update, the source, query and verification notes help you understand what happened instead of silently overwriting your previous list.
Review quality before using the output
- Check field definitions and the meaning of unmatched rows.
- Treat branches and repeated business names carefully before removing duplicates.
- Record the source and verification date when available.
- Exclude unnecessary personal information and confirm the permitted purpose before sharing or contacting anyone.
Frequently asked questions
Does this run automatically every day in the cloud?+
No scheduled cloud collection is promised. These are supported batch workflows in the Windows application.
Can I import any spreadsheet?+
Use the input format accepted by the chosen tool. A general spreadsheet import or universal database-cleaning service is not implied.
Does a larger file guarantee more results?+
No. Matches and available fields depend on the source and data. Test a sample and review usage costs first.
